Q. Will I have support for the online process?
A. We are standing by to make the transition to online as seamless as possible. To ensure this, we have allocated a Expo Expert to assist with managing your booth deliverables and guide you through the entire online experience. Upon registration, you will be given the contact details for this person. Please feel free to discuss any questions or concerns you have with them.

Q. How do I access my Virtual Stand?
A. When you click onto and enter the Expo Tradeshow, you will go to the main lobby, after which you will be able to navigate to your Stand. You will not be able to see any other exhibitor’s stand and they will not be able to see yours.

Q. How do I know what my virtual stand looks like?
A. Your Expo Expert will ensure you are involved through the entire process and provide you with regular updates and a visual of your stand.

Q. Will my team get training on the Virtual Expo Platform?
A. We will give all participating exhibitors access to their stands approximately ONE (1) week prior to going live, to have a walk through your virtual stand, see how things function and operate, and allow the team to setup their profile and to add any details they want to their own profile, e.g. mobile number, job description and profile picture.

Q. How will I get access to the Expo platform? Where to find link/login details etc?
A. An email with unique login details will be sent to each member of your team once they have been registered for the event. They can access the links through the Expo website at:  www.metcashexpo.com. NOTE: your assigned login details will only be applicable to the Virtual Expo you are registered to attend.

Q. Can I send the link to people who may be interested in attending my stand?
A. No, all attendees must pre-register for the event. Please ask them to visit the Support & FAQ page on the Expo website at: www.metcashexpo.com. and complete “Contact Form” on this page,an Expo Expert will assist with their enquiry.

Q. Will I be able to see who is attending Expo?
A. Yes, you will be able to see the Delegates name, Store name and DC (same as name badges at Expo).

Q. What if the person nominated on the registration form changes?
A. Please advise your Expo Expert or send us an email through the contact page at www.metcashexpo.com. in the general enquires section so we can amend the information.

Q. What if we notice an error on the registration form?
A. Please advise your Expo Expert or send us an email through the contact page at www.metcashexpo.com. in the general enquires section; the information will be amended.

Q. Do I need to arrange insurance?
A. No, it is a Virtual Expo.

Q. When will I be able to Bump In to visit my stand?
A. We will give all participating exhibitors registered team members access to their stands approximately ONE (1) week prior to going live, to have a walk through your virtual stand, see how things function and operate, and allow the team to setup their profile and to add any details they want to their own profile, e.g. mobile number, job description and profile picture.

Q. What if my Bump-In time does not suit?
A. Please advise your Expo Expert and they will arrange a suitable time for the entire team.

Q. Can I bring a vehicle into the inside of the Exhibition Centre?
A. Argh No! Unless it is a Wonder Woman Invisible Jet!

Q. Are animals allowed on the exhibitors’ stands?
A. No, pretty much same as above, unless it is a Tamagotchi, you will have no chance!

Q. Can I cook in my stand?
A. If you pretend your stand is your desk, go for it!!

Q. Is there parking available at the Exhibition Centre?
A. Only for Wonder Woman Invisible Jets

Q. Will assistance be available at the loading dock?
A. What are you bringing in that you need a loading dock?

Q. Are there facilities to obtain lunch/meals on Bump-in days?
A. Your fridge or pantry at home, if empty please head to your nearest independent store to restock before the event.

Q. Can I smoke at the Exhibition Centre?
A. Yep, go for it!

Q. Do I need to wear my name badge?
A. If we Microsoft Teams you at any stage of the event, a badge is not necessary, pants are though and must always be worn.

Q. What if I can’t provide my stand deliverables in the timeframe required?
A. Please advise your Expo Expert as soon as you can, alternative arrangements will be made.

Q. Can I make a change to my stand deliverables during the Expo?
A. The last date to provide any updates to your stand is Wednesday 30th September. After this date, change or updates will not be permitted.

Q. Can all 10 of my team members be on the stand at the same time?
A. Yes. All team members can be online at the same time.

Q. Does my Stand have to be manned during Expo hours?
A. Yes, there must always be someone ‘live’ on your stand during the Expo hours, which are 9.00am to 3.00pm Daily. NOTE: The Expo floor will remain open for retailers the entire 24 hours, they will be able to leave comments and messages for you to pick up the following day!
